Our journey began when Jon Kirsch, a seasoned racer with years of experience behind the wheel, decided to share his love for racing with his son, Jonny. What makes RedsRacing unique is not just our competitive spirit, but the genuine family atmosphere that drives every aspect of our operation. From the shop to the track, racing is in our blood.
Today, both Jon (#8) and Jonny (#88) compete across multiple racing series, bringing excitement and fierce competition to every track they visit. Our team has grown from a small family operation to include dedicated crew members, supporters, and fans who share our passion for the sport.
The Kirsch Racing Family
Jon Kirsch - #8
Jon Kirsch brings decades of racing experience to Team #8. His deep understanding of race strategy, car setup, and track conditions has made him a formidable competitor. Jon's approach to racing combines old-school grit with modern techniques, making him a mentor not just to his son but to younger drivers throughout the racing community.
Throughout his career, Jon has competed in numerous paved track events, earning respect from fellow competitors for his clean racing style and sportsmanship. His experience spans multiple classes and track configurations on asphalt and concrete surfaces, giving him versatility that few can match.
Jonny Kirsch - #88
Following in his father's passion for racing, Jonny Kirsch is building his own racing legacy through competitive indoor karting. Competing at K1 Speed indoor tracks, Jonny combines youthful energy with the racing wisdom passed down from his father. His aggressive yet calculated racing style has earned him podium finishes and continues to develop with each race.
While Jon tackles the paved tracks, Jonny hones his skills on indoor karting circuits, mastering precision driving and racecraft in the high-speed world of electric kart racing. His natural talent and dedication to the sport showcase the family's racing DNA. The future of RedsRacing is bright with both father and son pursuing their racing passions.
